During an interview for the Los Angeles Timesthe singer of So What revealed that she started launching herself into the air during her concerts to combat her vertigo. “Absolutely,” the 44-year-old singer said when asked if she was scared during her stunts. That’s why I started doing them, because I’m afraid of heights and I don’t want to be afraid. »

The singer of Lady Marmalade added: “I’ve been in situations where I didn’t feel good. I wonder every night if my rubber bands will work. But it’s a good way to die if they don’t work. »

Throughout her 2023 tour, she climbed onto ropes to perform a series of aerial stunts, for which she is known today. In her interview, she was also asked if her children, Willow, 12, and Jameson, six, were asking her to give up her stunts. “Maybe my son asks me a little, but he’s just small. They have Carey Hart blood in their veins. I mean, he’s worse than me,” she justified, referring to her husband, who was a motorcycle racer and freestyle motocross competitor.

Pink concluded her tour Summer Carnival in August and launched its new concert series, Trustfallin Sacramento, California, on October 12.
