The delegation of the bodybuilding and fitness teams received a pink reception following their participation in the two Asian championships that were held simultaneously in Kyrgyzstan. 34 medals (12 gold, 7 silver, in addition to 13 bronze) and two distinguished titles in the category of champion champions, while the fitness team achieved 13 medals, 6 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bodybuilding Federation, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the General Sports Authority and all the federal and local government agencies that contributed to supporting the team’s players during the preparations for the two championships, including the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, the General Command of Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Residency and Affairs Foreigners, Dubai Customs Department, and all sports and non-sporting entities for their supportive role in achieving the two major achievements.
Ali bin Haider congratulated the team’s delegation, the medal-winning players and the administrative staff for the achievement, praising the high training efforts that paved the way for winning the highest number of colored medals achieved in the Asian championships. The competitions of the championship, praising the efforts of the two Board members Ahmed bin Dhabui Al Falasi and Abdul Rahman Al-Awadi in the preparations that paved the way for winning the championship, stressing that this achievement will be a greater breakthrough to spread the culture of practicing this sport as an ideal way of life.
