On October 26, in the heart of Pink October, the Mercure Beaune Center Hotel and its M7 Restaurant organized a charity event in favor of the associations La Deuche Rose de Quetigny and Le Repère d’Idézen de Beaune. A check for €2,500 was given to the two associations this Monday.
« It is a pleasure to have been able to support two very wonderful associations which support people with breast cancer, a first for us with this “Pink Evening” and a success which invites new editions. » Médéric Fauchille, director of the 4-star hotel, did not hide his satisfaction when handing over the check for €2,500 to David Michel, treasurer of La Deuche Rose, and Chantal for the Repère d’Idézen. This sum marks the solidarity of the people who took part in this charity evening dedicated to the fight once morest breast cancer. At the M7 restaurant by Mercure, they were able to benefit from a well-being workshop, various activities, show cooking and wine, cheese and beer tastings thanks to the mobilization of partners. €1,200 was thus collected and Mercure wanted to participate in this cause by adding €1,300, sums which will be shared by the two associations to continue their actions.
“Le Repère d’Idézen” is an association which helps women affected by cancer in Beaune and in the 53 municipalities of the Beaune Côte et Sud agglomeration. It aims to break the loneliness during and following illness through well-being and sports workshops, escape days, financial support from various professionals and traders and mutual assistance through peer assistance (telephone listening).
La Deuche Rose is an association from Quétigny which aims to improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer and to provide financial or material support to various hospitals and institutes in Dijon and its surrounding area. She also offers photo shooting sessions to sick people to help them reconcile with their image, strengthen self-esteem and self-confidence while enjoying a moment of well-being where they are at the heart of aesthetic treatments, hairdressing…
