Available since Tuesday, Pokémon Sleep will allow fans of Pikachu, Charmander, Charizard and other creatures to monitor and improve their sleep using an application and a possible accessory.
Enjoyed Pokémon Go to maintain your health and keep you going? You might love Pokémon Sleep to help you sleep better. The application created by The Pokémon Company is now available in France (iOS and Android).
It comes in a rather playful form in order to make young people especially want to go to bed and improve their sleep. Pokémon Sleep’s mode of operation is quite simple: just put your smartphone or tablet near your pillow – but not below to avoid overheating – and fall asleep.
An incentive to sleep more
When you wake up, the application will have identified all the sleep measurements, but also the Pokémon captured during the night and their sleep style. Everything is then recorded in the Dododex. The more hours of sleep the user accumulates, the more Snorlax, the creature that appears, grows stronger and will encounter Pokémon.
To amplify the use of Pokémon Sleep, the brand also offers Pokémon Go Plus +, a Snorlax-shaped accessory that replaces the mobile device and takes sleep monitoring into account. It can also be connected to the Pokémon Go application to earn additional bonuses. Pokémon Go Plus+ will be available on July 21 in France.
