Pierre Tribolet lost his life in a head-on collision on Sunday evening. He died on the spot. The firefighters did everything to save him, to no avail.
An accident involving two vehicles occurred on Sunday evening, around 6:25 p.m. on the N 895 between Bellefontaine and La Soye. One of the drivers missed the turn and was unable to avoid another oncoming vehicle. The head-on collision was fatal for one of the drivers, Pierre Tribolet. The firefighters freed him and did everything to save him. Unfortunately, the Gaumais died on the spot.
The Virton and Etalle firefighters also took care of an injured person.
The Gaume police zone has carried out usage reports.
Pierre Tribolet lived in the town of Meix-devant-Virton, where he was from. Le Gaumais played the trumpet within the Meix musical circle. He also hit the small ball with the table tennis club in his town.
The man has known difficult passages in life, but today he was more calm. He needed to be guided, supervised. His endearing personality will be missed by those close to him.
