The model and television presenter, Pierangeli Doderowill represent Peru before the 40 applicants for the title of ‘Universal Woman‘ (Universal Woman) that will take place from January 27 to February 4 in Dubai, the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. The winner will be awarded $100,000..
“I accepted the participation because of my permanent interest in contributing to society. I consider that beauty pageants are a platform to continue helping and developing people,” Dodero said in a statement.
“I am going with my current social projects, to make known how wonderful our country and its people are. It is an honor for me,” says Pierangeli, who was ranked five in the ‘top ten’ of ‘Lady Universe 2019‘ and won the title of ‘Mrs. Top Latina‘, in the same contest held in China.
Profile of the participants
Women between the ages of 25 and 45, married, single, with or without children, participate in the contest. The objective is the exchange of ideas that can nourish the vision of a world with more solidarity and participate in various social activities.
“The choice of Pierangeli Dodero as a Peruvian representative was made through an international selection committee. We saw several ex-Peruvian beauty queens and the solidarity actions carried out in Peru with Aymara women caught our attention, and of course, their elegance, beauty and ease of communication in Spanish and English”, says Alexander González, image director of ‘ Universal Woman’.
The event has a series of activities leading up to the grand finale. The candidates will travel for eight days aboard the cruise Tuscan coast. The final event aims to showcase the culture, beauty and glamor of the candidates from various parts of the world.
‘Universal Woman’ is headquartered in London, England and Los Angeles, California. It is made up of a group of professionals of various nationalities led by CEO Carolina Cuartas, image director Alexander González and casting director Antonio Salazar. The grand final will be broadcast via YouTube to more than 150 countries.
