Pieces of glass in wine bottles: a major brand removes Chardonnay from its shelves

Bottles of 75 cl Chardonnay white wine from Domaine Lalande (2021) are removed from the shelves and recalled from consumers due to the possible presence of pieces of glass, the Carrefour group said on Thursday.

The affected product bears batch number L22230A2 and EAN code 3760053110312. The possible presence of pieces of glass was detected during an inspection. As a precaution, all bottles of this white wine have been withdrawn from sale. However, some products were marketed on the Belgian market before the withdrawal measure. People who have bought this wine are asked not to drink it and to bring it back to the store where they will be reimbursed.
