After twenty-five years at Pictet, including nineteen years as a partner, Rémy Best will leave the college of partners in May 2023, the Geneva private bank announced on Wednesday. His career had led him to lead or co-lead the asset management business, private banking and the Technologies & Operations sector. After his departure, the 55-year-old banker will occupy a seat on the board of directors of the Swiss bank of the group and within the supervisory body of the Pictet group. In parallel, the current head of wealth management in Europe, Sven Holstenson, will join the college of partners on May 1, 2023, which will continue to have eight members. At 40, Sven Holstenson also deals with the management of very wealthy clients and sits on the management committee of the European bank of the Geneva group.
