Pichu Straneo has been entertaining us for many years and a large part of those years were as part of the team of Uncoded, a TV program that has already become a classic of laughter. We have seen him do characters, characterizations and fantastic imitations of all kinds of singers with unparalleled mastery. His professional origin in the Uruguayan carnivals formed him as a artist totally different in terms of ductility since he sings, dances, plays instruments and acts, all in a single performer who generates constant laughter with his creations.
Now this beloved interpreter is standing out on the billboard of sea of silver with his own show, which has the amusing title of Pichu Sells Smoke…R. But it is not a one-person show but is accompanied by Juanjo Salce, clown, magician and presenter who has two Martin Fierro nominations on his resume for “Best Humorous Work on Radio”. Juanjo has his own presentation of him within the show, which is designed for the family for them to enjoy from the most child to the most adult.
In a conversation via Zoom with this great interpreter, we learn regarding the behind the scenes of this comedy that is offered at the San Martin Theater (San Martín 2301, Mar del Plata) and this is what he told:
The functions of Pichu sells Smoke…R are Thursday to Sunday at 10:15 p.m. and it is the only place where you will be able to see him, since he settled in La Feliz, as he recounted in the interview, and he is hyper focused on giving his best with this show produced by Sergio Gonal.
