After a day of stress, the muscles become stiff and make it difficult to move. For the specialist, stretching regularly helps eliminate this sensation. “Muscles and joints will become more flexible, relieving the discomfort caused when we spend several hours in front of the computer or sitting,” he said.
Increased blood circulation
With stretching, blood movement becomes more fluid, reducing the likelihood of possible injuries and future problems. “Exercising the neck muscles ensures that they remain relaxed, a characteristic that goes far beyond momentary relief”, he highlighted.
Can be done at any time
This stretching is not limited to one moment of the day. “Performing these exercises in the morning, gently rotating your neck in all directions, helps prepare your muscles for daily commitments. In the middle of the day, during breaks at work to relieve accumulated tension. When people stretch before bed, they tend to relax more in their sleep”, concluded Jessé Ramos.
