The brand new Tinch’Roses association, which works “for people with cancer, but not only”, will offer phototherapy in the Tinchebray region (Orne).
Maëva Joubert, the president who suffers from breast cancer, is an amateur photographer. She explains: “we use portrait photography. Women need, for themselves, to show that they are still feminine”
“Illness changes us, but we always remain ourselves. First of all, you have to demonstrate to yourself that it is not because you have more breasts, more hair or that you have scars that you are not yourself. »
Awareness
Phototherapy also aims to better accept and love oneself better. A shared and beneficial moment of humanity because the mirror is sometimes hard in these moments. Maëva recounts the reactions of awareness following a session.
Okay, I look like this. This is not the image I had of myself.

The young association has several projects to make life easier for patients, such as fighting for coverage, even partial, of cosmetics which help limit the harmful effects of chemotherapy.
At this level, a study is being carried out with the Tinchebray pharmacy to offer a box of basic products and, why not, a price for members of the association. Research into natural products will emerge very soon.
“We can take a big leap forward”
In large cities, there is an association, Makeup My Krane, and also tattoo artists who artistically hide scars. In Tinchebray, the association works on well-being and positive image.

Maëva found support in our city: “with the heart, we can do many things. Here, there are a lot of people, whether traders, elected officials, residents, who have a heart. With a mutual aid movement, if several of us do a little bit, we can make a big leap forward.”
The physical and psychological suffering gave Maëva the desire to help, to relieve the sick.
My dream would be to mobilize to fight once morest all cancers, all diseases, and so that there are no more! Honestly, I would do anything for it.

An association that puts itself within the reach of Bocage to open doors of support and make life easier for patients who at the moment do not necessarily have the strength and means to go to large centers.
