Photos of Elizabeth II meeting Liz Truss raise concerns about Queen’s health

Liz Truss formally became British Prime Minister on Tuesday following being received by Queen Elizabeth II, who entrusted her with the task of forming a government in a United Kingdom in the midst of economic and social crisis.

In these images, the monarch’s hand seems marked by a hematoma. A geriatrician doctor told our colleagues at RTL that it is a blue for a few days, because its color is already close to yellow.

“The mark might be linked to an infusion or a blood test. But it is not a traumatic hematoma”

says the doctor.
