In the app-inspired special collaboration Pokémon GO with the trading card game, players will be able to use picture cards of photorealistic representations and whose game scenarios are inspired by mobile games. On some maps, Pokémon appear to have slipped into the real world, such as Pikachu walking alongside its Trainer and Snorlax taking a nap on a house porch. Other cards depict Pokémon in scenes from the mobile game, such as Blissful defending an Arena and Capumain dodging a Poké Ball.
Additionally, objects and characters from the world of Pokémon GO are represented as Trainer cards, such as PokéStop as a Stadium card and Decoy Mod as an Item card, as well as team captains Spark, Blanche, and Candela as Supporter cards.
L’extension Pokémon GO of the Pokémon TCG will be available in the following products, which will be released worldwide in participating stores on 1is July 2022; later releases are also planned. The products will contain unique promo cards, including powerful Pokémon-V and Pokémon-VSTAR with major impact in Pokémon TCG battles.
