Berlin – He still looks like a child in this picture, holding a studded belt in his hand. Shortly following this recording, the adolescent with this belt beat a man (32) in Berlin!
That’s why the police looked for the suspect with photos.
The crime happened on July 14, 2021 (Wednesday) at around 3:45 p.m. in a U5 subway and in the Brandenburger Tor subway station. As the Berlin police said, there had previously been a verbal argument, “which then escalated and ended with the beatings”. As a spokesman for BILD said, the dispute was regarding the excessive use of mobile phones on the train.
The suspect then fled in a departing subway.
The 32-year-old, who was beaten with the belt, suffered several minor injuries all over his body, which he wanted to have treated by a doctor himself.
Photo manhunt brought quick success
After the photos were published on Monday, the police were able to report success on Tuesday: the suspect was identified thanks to several clues. It was a young person who was 14 years old at the time of the crime.
