Robbers kidnapped an employee on Tuesday evening in a business in Tubize, we learned on Wednesday from the Walloon Brabant public prosecutor’s office.
Three hooded and gloved individuals burst into the Phone Corner telephone business, located along the Chaussée de Mons, in Tubize, on Tuesday around 6 p.m.
One of the suspects produced a handgun with which he threatened the employee. The attendant was then restrained and tied up using plastic zip ties.
The thugs fled on foot, taking several cell phones. The amount of the damage was not communicated by the judicial authorities.
Various investigative tasks are underway, including viewing images from surveillance cameras that filmed the scene.
