Vienna (ots) – The popular presenter and actor Philipp Hansa has been a brand ambassador for Ford Austria and has been on the road with a Kuga PHEV since 2021. Claudia Leopold, Head of Marketing at Ford Austria, recently presented the Graz native with a brand new Kuga PHEV.

“Ford and Philipp simply go together,” says Leopold happily. “As a brand ambassador, he perfectly embodies our values such as dynamism, driving pleasure and individuality. Philipp reaches young, future-oriented people who pay more attention to sustainability, especially when it comes to mobility.”

Purely electrically, and therefore emission-free, the Kuga PHEV can cover up to 65 kilometers (according to WLTP), a decisive argument for Philipp Hansa to drive the Kuga: “I travel a lot for work-related reasons and mostly in urban areas, anything but emission-free driving is no longer up-to-date”. The plug-in technology combines the range advantage and flexibility of a conventional combustion engine with the high energy efficiency and smooth running of an electric drive.

The Kuga PHEV was the best-selling plug-in hybrid (PHEV) of all brands in Europe in 2022 for the second year in a row. The new generation of the Ford Kuga impresses with its very high fuel efficiency and correspondingly low CO2 emissions.

In addition to the plug-in variant, the Kuga is also available as a full hybrid – here optionally with all-wheel drive – and as a diesel; The new “Graphite Tech Edition” has also been available since April: This is the first variant in the model series to feature the spectacular Gray Matter paint finish and has some of the most advanced and popular driver assistance systems on board as standard. For example, the edition model can park independently without the driver having to intervene in the steering or automatically maintain the desired distance from vehicles ahead and stay in lane on freeways.
