For the seventh consecutive year, immigrants are celebrated in Philadelphia; an opportunity for all residents to explore their heritage and celebrate diversity. Summer Ball at the Franklin Institute

Have fun, a summer dance, at the Franklin Institute’s Science After Hours. Dress to impress at this 21+ event celebrating Pride Month and featuring music, dancing, performances, live talk, rooftop stargazing and general museum cheer. First Annual North Philadelphia Artist Fair

The First Annual North Philadelphia Artist Fair is a free, family-friendly event held by, for, and regarding the North Philadelphia community. Workshop tribute to its members

The Puerto Rican Workshop wants to celebrate the dedicated members who support its activity. All members are invited to join in the celebration, for a day dedicated to honoring them. They will enjoy mimosas, light brunch, and the opportunity to participate in a printmaking workshop led by the Taller team. Participants will be able to create their own original linocut print and screen print their own tote bag. Materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their bag or t-shirt to screen print. Reserve your space. June 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

PHA Health and Safety Fair

As the summer months approach, the Philadelphia Housing Authority’s Choice Neighborhood Initiative Team will host a health and safety resource fair for residents and youth in North Central Philadelphia. Desfile y festival afroamericano Juneteenth

Philadelphia marks the anniversary of the emancipation of African Americans from slavery with a parade and festival featuring vendors, food, music, and a children’s village. It takes place at various locations, including Malcolm X Park, 5100 Pine Street. Sunday, June 18.

Book Artists Working Group

Open Book, sponsored by the Philadelphia Center for the Book, showcases the work of members of the organization’s Artists Task Force, celebrating its tenth year. Wawa celebrates “Welcome to America”

This 4th of July festival in the birthplace of the nation includes several weeks of multicultural and family-friendly programming. Comcast announces scholarship contest

Comcast announces a new round of 100 Philadelphia businesses that will receive comprehensive grant packages for business consulting services, educational resources, a $5,000 monetary grant, creative production, media programming, and technology makeover. Comcast RISE seeks to support the growth of small businesses, while promoting diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as community investment.
