Philadelphia 76ers end Milwaukee Bucks’ streak

Philadelphia 76erswith a brilliant performance by James Harden y Joel Embiidgave the note this Saturday by beating Milwaukee Bucks as a visitor and cut his streak of 16 consecutive victoriesin an NBA day that also recorded the triumphs of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves.

BUCKS 130 – 76ERS 133

The 76ers ended the Bucks’ 16-game winning streak with a monumental performance by their trio of Harden, Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, who added 95 points..

Harden shined with a double-double of 38 points and 10 assists, Embiid chipped in 31 points and 10 rebounds, and Maxey chipped in with 26 points.

The Bucks gave up at the Fiserv Forum despite the 34 points and 13 rebounds from the Greek Giannis Antetokounmpo, 26 points and 13 assists from Jrue Holiday and 26 points from Brook Lopez. Plus, Grayson Allen chipped in 20 points, all in a terrific third quarter.

CAVALIERS 114 – PISTONS 90

With a great ensemble performance, the Cavaliers topped the Pistons led by Darius Garland’s 21 points and Donovan Mitchell’s 20to reinforce its fourth position in the East.

The Spanish Ricky Rubio had an interesting performance with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals in 19 minutes.

KINGS 134 – TIMBERWOLVES 138

Led by Anthony Edwards, protagonist with 27 points and decisive in the last minutes, Timberwolves snapped Kings’ five-game winning streak.

With three straight wins, the Wolves (34-32) are seventh and are pressing the Dallas Mavericks (33-31) for the sixth position, which is worth direct access to the playoffs.

For Sacramento, third in the West, Kevin Huerter scored 29 points and De’Aaron Fox chipped in 25.

Quin Snyder suffered his second loss in three games in charge of the Hawks, by surrendering in Miami before a great double-double by Bam Adebayo of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Jimmy Butler posted another double-double, with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

The Heat are eighth (34-31), ahead of the Hawks who are in ninth position (32-32).

WIZARDS 109 – RAPTORS 116

The Raptors won a direct clash in the fight for a place in the play-ins against the Washington Wizards, led by Gary Trent Jr.’s 26 points and Fred VanVleet’s 25.

The Canadian team is ninth (32-33), while the Wizards are tenth (30-33) and can lose ground with respect to the Chicago Bulls, who are chasing them in eleventh position (29-35).

SPURS 110 – 122 ROCKETS

Eight Rockets players finished above 10 points, led by Tari Eason’s 20 and Kenyon Martin’s double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds.

The Spanish Usman Garuba contributed 11 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist in 9 minutes on the court.
