pharmacies in Lille, Amiens, Valenciennes and Creil now offer vaccination

After the experiment carried out in Lille at the Paris-Aprium pharmacy, four new establishments in Hauts-de-France are strengthening the vaccination campaign once morest monkey pox. It is now possible to be vaccinated at another pharmacist in Lille, but also in Amiens, Valenciennes and Creil.

Pas-de-Calais and Aisne are not currently affected by these announcements.

The establishments that are now offering this service are:

  • The Saint-Maurice pharmacy in Amiens (Somme)
  • The Parvis pharmacy in Creil (Oise)
  • The Esquermoise pharmacy in Lille (Nord)
  • The Fontaine pharmacy in Valenciennes (North)

These four pharmacies join the Grande Pharmacy Paris-Appium in Lille, which has already been offering to immunize its customers since August. Appointments will be possible”in the next few days“.

According to the ARS, the experiment carried out there was a “big success“with the vaccination of more than a thousand people. As of September 18, “8,032 injections were performed in the region,” adds the agency.

Exclusively reserved until July 2022 for the entourage of people sick with monkeypox, the campaign has been extended to people at risk.

As recommended by the High Health Authority, vaccination is offered to “men who have sex with men” and transgender people, the “people in prostitution” and the “professionals working in places of sexual consumption“.
