As announced, Phantom Abyss left early access on January 25. The Team WIBY studio therefore took the opportunity to publish its ticket de blog Steam and the classic launch trailer for version 1.0 of the game. Now you will be able to play two game modes, which are the Adventure completely reworked and the mode Abyss (formerly classic mode) where only one of you can complete the temple. New whips will be added to the existing ones and permanent improvements will be unlocked.
The central hub has been improved and a readjustment of powers has been made on both the whips and the prayer hotels. Also, you will be able to dash in the air and have the possibility to retry your parkour from the end of game screen, without going back through the hub. On the other hand, the developers have removed the ranking system and as a result, you will no longer be able to brag about your past exploits. On the occasion of its release in 1.0, Phantom Abyss is currently at minus 50% on Steam, or less than €10 for the basic edition and less than €13 for the deluxe edition, until February 1st. Don’t hesitate to give us feedback on this new build in the comments area.
