“The market agreement establishes a procedure dedicated to small economic actors in difficulty, including actors of the social and solidarity economy, to redevelop low-cost PGEs, under the aegis of the trusted third party that is Business Credit Mediation,” the ministry explained. The procedure will be “confidential, free and non-judicial” and “will make it possible to maintain the State guarantee on PGEs beyond six years free of charge”.
On Wednesday, the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire announced a space agreement allowing “to use credit mediation to redevelop state-guaranteed loans for small businesses which may experience particularly significant repayment difficulties”, at the outcome of a meeting bringing together in particular the Governor of the Banque de France François Villeroy de Galhau and the President of the French Banking Federation (FBF) Nicolas Théry.
