US golf pro Tony Finau’s triumphal march on the PGA Tour continues.
A week following his success at the 3M Open in Minneapolis, the 32-year-old from Salt Lake City also won the Rocket Mortgage Classic in Detroit.
With a total of 262 shots, Finau clearly prevailed once morest his compatriots Patrick Cantlay and Cameron Young as well as Canadian Taylor Pendrith (all 267 shots). Finau received a $1.51 million winner’s check for his fourth win on the US tour. Munich-born Stephan Jäger, who lives in the US, finished a strong fifth-place finish in the $8.4 million tournament.
