Im Seong-jae (24), who tied for 2nd in the Tour Championship in the final round of the PGA Tour playoffs, rose to 18th in the world rankings.
In the weekly men’s golf world rankings announced on the 29th, Im Seong-jae jumped one place from 19th last week.
Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who won the championship, also moved up from fourth place last week to third place.
1st and 2nd place Scotty Schaeffler (USA) and Cameron Smith (Australia) maintained their positions, while Patrick Cantlay (USA) moved down from 3rd to 4th place.
