The feud between the Wagner mercenaries and the Kremlin, which has been smoldering for months, reached its (temporary) high point last Saturday with an uprising. As quickly as the conflict broke out, it ended. This is partly reminiscent of a right-wing extremist putsch attempt in Austria in 1931, which has gone down in history as the “Pfrimer Putsch”.
