NFL Week 12 Injury Tracker

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons

Saints: RB Kendre Miller, OUT (ankle); EDGE Isaiah Foskey, QUESTIONABLE (quadricep); CB Marshon Lattimore, OUT (ankle)
Falcons: QB Taylor Heinicke, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); WR Mack Hollins, OUT (ankle)

Saints: Miller didn’t play in New Orleans’ Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and didn’t practice all week. The third-round rookie hasn’t received much playing time behind fellow RBs Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams.

Lattimore has a high ankle sprain; he’s considered week to week but didn’t practice this week and won’t face the Falcons. Isaac Yiadom will likely replace Lattimore as a starting CB.

Falcons: Hollins, who missed Atlanta’s Week 10 game, returned for a limited practice on Wednesday but was downgraded to DNP on Thursday and Friday.

Heinicke has been limited all week. The Falcons are turning to Desmond Ridder as their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. If Heinicke can’t suit up on Sunday, Logan Woodside will back up Ridder.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals

Steelers: DT Montravious Adams, OUT (ankle); CB James Pierre, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); S Minkah Fitzpatrick, OUT (hamstring)
Bengals: QB Joe Burrow, OUT (right wrist); RB Chase Brown, QUESTIONABLE (illness); WR Tee Higgins, OUT (hamstring); OT D’Ante Smith, DOUBTFUL (knee); LB Germaine Pratt, QUESTIONABLE (illness); CB Cam Taylor-Britt, OUT (quad)

Steelers: Fitzpatrick will miss his fourth straight game. With Keanu Neal on injured reserve (IR), Pittsburgh is using Damontae Kazee and Trenton Thompson as its starting safeties.

WR George Pickens (shin) didn’t practice Wednesday and was limited on Thursday and Friday, but he was removed from the Steelers’ injury report ahead of Week 12.

Bengals: Burrow will be placed on IR this week after suffering a season-ending wrist injury. Cincinnati will move forward with Jake Browning under center.

Browning will not have the Bengals’ WR2 on the field, as Higgins has not practiced this week after missing the team’s last two games. Trenton Irwin has taken Higgins’ snaps thus far, but rookie WRs Andre Iosivas and Charlie Jones could begin to see more work.

Taylor-Britt, who’s become the Bengals’ top CB this year, never practiced after leaving the club’s Week 11 loss. Chidobe Awuzie and DJ Turner will see a full complement of snaps.

Carolina Panthers at Tennessee Titans

Panthers: TE Hayden Hurst, OUT (concussion); EDGE Yetur Gross-Matos, OUT (hamstring); EDGE Marquis Haynes, QUESTIONABLE (neck); LB Frankie Luvu, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); CB Jaycee Horn, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); CB C.J. Henderson, DOUBTFUL (concussion); S Jeremy Chinn, OUT (quadriceps); S Sam Franklin Jr., QUESTIONABLE (quadriceps)
Titans: WR Treylon Burks, OUT (concussion); OT Chris Hubbard, OUT (biceps); LB Luke Gifford, QUESTIONABLE (shin); S Terrell Edmunds, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)

Panthers: Hurst never practiced after sitting out Week 11. Fellow TE Tommy Tremble played 76% of Carolina’s offensive snaps on Sunday and hauled in a four-yard touchdown.

The Panthers’ secondary hoped to get several members back this week, but that’s now unlikely. Henderson hasn’t been able to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol. Horn, who has been out since Week 1, is doubtful, while Chinn’s return from IR won’t occur on Sunday.

Titans: Burks has already missed two games after suffering a scary concussion in Week 9 and isn’t expected back any time soon. Hubbard has a season-ending injury and will be placed on IR this week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Indianapolis Colts

Buccaneers: DT Logan Hall, QUESTIONABLE (illness); DT Mike Greene, QUESTIONABLE (calf); LB Lavonte David, OUT (groin); LB Devin White, QUESTIONABLE (foot); CB Carlton Davis, QUESTIONABLE (hip); CB Jamel Dean, OUT (ankle/foot)
Colts: TE Drew Ogletree, OUT (foot); C Ryan Kelly, OUT (concussion); LB Grant Stuard, QUESTIONABLE (illness); CB JuJu Brents, OUT (quadriceps)

Buccaneers: David and Dean failed to practice this week and won’t be able to suit up on Sunday. White didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday but was limited on Friday, so he might be a true game-time decision.

Davis seems to be the closest to playing in Week 12. He was limited to begin the week but managed a full practice on Friday.

Colts: Kelly practiced fully on Thursday but couldn’t participate on Friday. Wesley French will make his third start of the season at center. Brents, a starting CB when healthy, appears poised to miss his fourth straight game.

New England Patriots at New York Giants

Patriots: WR DeVante Parker, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); OT Trent Brown, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); DT Christian Barmore, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DL Deatrich Wise Jr., QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); LB Ja’Whaun Bentley, QUESTIONABLE(hamstring); CB Jonathan Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee); ST Matthew Slater, QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
Giants: RB Eric Gray, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); WR Darius Slayton, DOUBTFUL (neck); OT Evan Neal, OUT (ankle); DT Dexter Lawrence, DOUBTFUL (hamstring)

Patriots: Every injured Patriot managed a limited practice on Friday. Parker, Brown, and Bentley missed New England’s last game before the club’s Week 11 bye.

Giants: Slayton picked up a neck injury late in the second quarter of New York’s Week 11 win and never returned. He did not practice on Wednesday but was limited the rest of the week. If Slayton can’t suit up on Sunday, Isaiah Hodgins will likely see more action.

In the trenches, Neal and Lawrence missed practice all week. Tyre Phillips replaced Neal at right tackle over the past two games. Replacing Lawrence isn’t possible.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans

Jaguars: WR Zay Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee); DT Roy Robertson-Harris, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Tyson Campbell, OUT (hamstring)
Texans: QB Case Keenum, QUESTIONABLE (calf); RB Dameon Pierce, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); WR Noah Brown, OUT (knee); C Juice Scruggs, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); LB Jake Hansen, OUT (hamstring/hand); S Jimmie Ward, OUT (hamstring)

Jaguars: Jones played for the first time since Week 5 on Sunday, hauling in all four of his targets for 20 yards. He was limited in practice this week.

Campbell is Jacksonville’s best CB. He’s missed three of the Jaguars’ last four games with a hamstring injury and never practiced this week. Montaric Brown replaced Campbell against the Titans in Week 11.

Texans: Pierce has fully practiced all week and is expected to return after a three-game absence. He will likely split carries with fellow RB Devin Singletary, who posted 288 rushing yards and two TDs from Weeks 9-11.

Keenum, Brown, Hansen, and Ward all sat out of Houston’s Week 11 win over the Arizona Cardinals and have failed to practice this week.

Brown didn’t practice last week but was still questionable for Sunday’s game. But he won’t even be a game-time decision against the Jaguars.

Cleveland Browns at Denver Broncos

Browns: WR Marquise Goodwin, OUT (concussion); LB Anthony Walker, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); LB Jordan Kunaszyk, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Denzel Ward, OUT (shoulder); S Juan Thornhill, QUESTIONABLE (calf)
Broncos: RB Dwayne Washington, QUESTIONABLE (illness); S P.J. Locke, QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Browns: Cleveland’s defense is still the best in the NFL, but its secondary is undoubtedly banged up. With Ward out, Greg Newsome will play outside while Mike Ford handles the slot. Thornhill might be able to suit up after missing the Browns’ Week 11 win over the Steelers.

Broncos: Denver is much healthier than the Browns heading into their Week 12 matchup. Locke, the only Bronco who didn’t practice on Wednesday, was upgraded to limited on Thursday and full on Friday. He’s expected to start if healthy now that fellow defensive back Kareem Jackson earned another suspension.

Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals

Rams: WR Ben Skowronek, QUESTIONABLE (hip); DB Quentin Lake, OUT (hamstring)
Cardinals: RB Emari Demercado, QUESTIONABLE (toe); WR Michael Wilson, OUT (shoulder); WR Marquise Brown, QUESTIONABLE (limited); WR Zach Pascal, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); DT Kevin Strong, OUT (knee); DL Jonathan Ledbetter, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); EDGE Jesse Lukta, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); CB Antonio Hamilton, OUT (groin); S Joey Blount, QUESTIONABLE (knee)

Rams: Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (shoulder) were limited by injuries earlier in the week, but both wideouts managed full practices on Friday and won’t carry injury designations into Week 12.

The Rams designated RB Kyren Williams (ankle) to return from IR on Wednesday, and he will play on Sunday. Williams was handling nearly every touch out of Los Angeles’ backfield before going down.

Cardinals: Demercado had 20 carries in Week 8 but has missed every game since. He’s been limited this week, but it remains to be seen if the undrafted rookie can re-establish a role behind fellow RBs James Conner, Tony Jones Jr., Michael Carter, and Keaontay Ingram.

Brown was listed as limited on Wednesday and didn’t practice on Thursday. Midweek downgrades are never a good sign, but the veteran WR will try to play in Week 12.

Wilson has been sidelined by a shoulder injury in two of Arizona’s last three games and hasn’t practiced this week. If neither Brown nor Wilson can play, Rondale Moore, Greg Dortch, and Pascal (limited) will be the Cards’ top three wideouts.

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders

Chiefs: RB Jerick McKinnon, OUT (groin); WR Mecole Hardman, OUT (thumb)
Raiders: OT Kolton Miller, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); EDGE Maxx Crosby, DOUBTFUL (knee); LB Robert Spillane, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); S Marcus Epps, QUESTIONABLE (neck); S Roderic Teamer, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)

Chiefs: McKinnon was limited to begin the week but didn’t practice on Friday before being ruled out. Hardman never practiced after going down in the first quarter of the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles.

Raiders: Crosby was the only Raider not practicing this week. He is typically limited throughout every week, but he couldn’t participate in a single practice. Las Vegas’ defense might not have much of a chance against Patrick Mahomes if its best defender can’t suit up.

Buffalo Bills at Philadelphia Eagles

Bills: CB Dane Jackson, OUT (concussion); S Taylor Rapp, OUT (neck)
Eagles: WR Quez Watkins, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); TE Dallas Goedert, OUT (forearm); TE Grant Calcaterra, OUT (ankle); DT Milton Williams, OUT (concussion); S Justin Evans, OUT (knee)

Bills: Buffalo’s defensive injury issues continue. Christian Benford will start at CB opposite Rasul Douglas with Jackson sidelined.

Eagles: RB D’Andre Swift (ankle) and WR A.J. Brown (thigh) were limited earlier in the week but have since been removed from Philadelphia’s report and won’t carry an injury designation for Week 12.

Goedert is dealing with a fractured forearm, but the Eagles have not placed him on IR, suggesting they believe the veteran TE can return without missing four games. He’s missed practice this week alongside Calcaterra, Barnett, and Evans.

Baltimore Ravens at Los Angeles Chargers (SNF)

Ravens: WR Odell Beckham Jr., QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); TE Mark Andrews, OUT (ankle); TE Charlie Kolar, QUESTIONABLE (illness); OT Ronnie Stanley, QUESTIONABLE (knee/rest); LB Trenton Simpson, OUT (concussion); LB Malik Harrison, DOUBTFUL (groin); CB Marlon Humphrey, QUESTIONABLE (calf); CB Damarion Williams, QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
Chargers: WR Jalen Guyton, QUESTIONABLE (limited); TE Gerald Everett, QUESTIONABLE (chest); TE Nick Vannett, OUT (concussion); S JT Woods, OUT (illness)

Ravens: OBJ is questionable, but rookie WR Zay Flowers (hip) won’t carry an injury designation into Week 12 after missing practice on Thursday.

Andrews might be able to return for the playoffsbut the Ravens will likely place him on IR this week. Isaiah Likely is now Baltimore’s starting tight end.

Chargers: Guyton and Everett failed to play against the Packers on Sunday. Both pass catchers have been limited this week, suggesting they’re trending toward a Week 12 return.

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (MNF)

Bears: RB D’Onta Foreman (ankle/shin); T Larry Borom (illness); LB Noah Sewell (knee)
Vikings: WR Justin Jefferson (hamstring); TE T.J. Hockenson (ribs); CB Akalyeb Evans (calf)

Bears: Foreman departed Chicago’s Week 11 loss to the Lions and never returned. He failed to practice on Thursday but was limited on Friday. Khalil Herbert has retaken the Bears’ RB1 role, while Roschon Johnson will see more snaps if Foreman is sidelined on Monday night.

Vikings: Jefferson, still on IR, was limited on Thursday and Friday, while head coach Kevin O’Connell has called the star pass catcher questionable for MNF. However, Jefferson is not expected to play against Chicago, instead targeting a return after Minnesota’s Week 13 bye.

Hockenson has been banged up all season but hasn’t missed any time, while Evans was sidelined for Week 11. Both players were limited today.
