[Archyde.com]-Pfizer, a major US pharmaceutical company, announced on the 30th that it is seeking formal approval in the United States for the oral antiviral drug “Paxlobido” for the new coronavirus infection, which has been approved for emergency use.

It is said that it submitted a new drug application to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Once approved, the company will have the option to sell it in the open market, just like any other drug, depending on whether the US government will stop buying Paxrovid and offering it domestically free of charge.
