Pfizer Strikes Middle Eastern Milestone with Landmark Kuwait Vaccine Agreement

The American pharmaceutical company Pfizer has concluded an agreement with Kuwait for the supply of corona vaccine, after the approval of the authorities, the said vaccine will be provided next year.

The American company Pfizer and Biotech have announced that they have reached an agreement with the Ministry of Health in Kuwait under which the RNA-based vaccine BNT162 will be supplied to Kuwait for the prevention of the global epidemic Covid-19.

On the request of the Kohati Health Ministry, the said vaccine will be provided by the end of this year or by the year 2021 after completion of clinical trials and approval of the local regulatory authority.

According to the report of the foreign news agency, the financial details of this agreement have not been revealed yet.

On the other hand, Lindsey Deich, head of Pfizer Company’s Gulf sector, has said that we are honored to cooperate with the Kuwaiti government to use all our resources as soon as possible to achieve the goals of providing a possible Covid-19 vaccine to the people of Kuwait.

He says that it is more important than ever for the Pfizer company to achieve this goal to save the lives of corona virus patients around the world.

“We hope that our vaccine will help achieve this goal, but it certainly depends on success in the clinical and regulatory aspects,” he said.
