Peugeot E-3008 Long Range and E-5008 Long Range already on sale – iAuto

Peugeot is starting to accept orders from customers who would like to purchase the E-3008 Long Range and E-5008 Long Range – electric crossovers with increased range.

Both model families already have standard modifications, but they do not provide as much range as the Long Range. Now the buyer will have such an opportunity and, looking at the map, will be able to calculate how far it is possible to get with one charge.

Both E-3008 Long Range and E-5008 Long Range are equipped with a 96.9 kWh battery, which combined with a 170 kW (231 hp) electric motor should provide a range of up to 698 or 664 kilometers, so one charge will be enough to leave Riga to Warsaw, or from our capital to the capital of Lithuania and back.

Both electric vehicles can be charged with a power of up to 160 kW. Using fast charging, 27 minutes will be enough to charge the battery from 20 percent to 80 percent, but for 150 kilometers, a break at plug will have to be held for ten minutes.

The manufacturer informs that the price of the E-3008 Long Range in the Allure package is 52,750 euros, while the E-5008 Allure with the same equipment package will require at least 55,250 euros.

In the near future, Peugeot plans to expand the range of both families with a high-performance twin-engine all-wheel drive 320 AWD version.

Alright, let’s talk about Peugeot, shall we? They’re stepping up their game with the introduction of the E-3008 Long Range and E-5008 Long Range electric crossovers. This isn’t just your average ‘plug-it-in-and-wait’ kind of scenario. No, no! We’re talking about electric vehicles that are clearly ready to travel – and not just to the end of the block!

Zap Up Your Journey!

With a dazzling 96.9 kWh battery under the hood and a motor that packs a punch at 170 kW (231 hp), these beauties are primed to give you a whopping range of up to 698 kilometers for the E-3008, and 664 kilometers for the E-5008. That’s enough juice to make a return trip from Riga to Warsaw, or even a little jaunt from the Latvian capital to Vilnius and back, all without breaking a sweat!

“Now, you can hit the road with confidence – just don’t forget to bring snacks!”

Charging: Fast and Furious or Take It Easy?

Now let’s get to the nitty-gritty of charging. Both models can handle fast charging up to 160 kW! You could be charging from 20% to 80% in just 27 minutes. But if you’re feeling adventurous and only need a quick 150 kilometers to get you to the pub, a quick ten-minute plug break should do the trick. Just don’t forget to tip the bar staff!

Price Tag: Worth the Spark?

So how much for this electric freedom, you ask? The E-3008 in the Allure package will set you back a cool 52,750 euros. Meanwhile, the E-5008 demands a touch more from your wallet, at least 55,250 euros. It’s a hefty price tag, but hey, have you seen the cost of petrol lately? Might as well go electric and save those hard-earned euros for a night out!

Future Plans: No Stopping Here!

Peugeot isn’t stopping at these models, folks! They’ve announced plans for a high-performance twin-engine all-wheel drive version – the 320 AWD. Just when you thought they were done, they throw in the spice of all-wheel drive! Because why not add a sprinkle of insanity to the mix, right?

Conclusion: A Charged-Up Future!

In ending, the Peugeot E-3008 and E-5008 Long Range aren’t just electric vehicles – they’re an invitation to adventure. So plug in, drive far, and remember: with the right charge, you can go anywhere – provided you’re willing to keep an eye on those battery bars and your travel snacks!

But let’s not forget – that getting from point A to point B with an electric car means planning, charging breaks, and perhaps a few “how does this charger work” moments! But isn’t that half the fun? Buckle up, folks, it’s going to be a shocking ride!
