Asunción, IP Agency.- After holding a meeting with President Santiago Peña at Mburuvicha Róga, the head of state oil company Petropar, Eddie Jara, ratified on Thursday that there will be no increase in the price of fuels marketed by the company until May , and that if there are conditions for the downgrade that will be applied automatically.
“The citizenry has to remain calm, there will be no increases until the end of May safely,” Jara said at the presidential residence Mburuvicha Róga, following his audience with the Head of State.
He stressed that “there will be no increases until May 31” and that “whenever there is the possibility of a decrease, it will be applied immediately.”
On the other hand, Jara highlighted that Petropar is closing the seventh consecutive month as the leader in national sales. “We are first and behind us are two international brands, and that fills us with great satisfaction because it means that we are doing things well,” he said.
He said that there are currently 23 emblems competing in the market and Petropar, thanks to the actions it had, with four consecutive losses in 2023, has the preference of consumers towards the brand.
“All this was possible thanks to the almost 180 operators, who agreed to give up part of their profit margins so that the current prices might be lowered and maintained,” he indicated.
