After setting up the petrol and oil price stabilization fund, petrol prices of all kinds sold in Petrolimex’s store system were adjusted down with the following specific levels: RON 95-V gasoline from 24,350 VND/liter to 24,230 VND/liter. liter; gasoline RON95-III from 23,440 VND/liter to 23,320 VND/liter; E5RON92 biofuel from 22,540 VND/liter to 22,420 VND/liter; Euro 5 standard diesel oil from 21,840 VND/liter to 21,290 VND/liter; kerosene from 20,840 VND/liter to 20,470 VND/liter.
Petroleum prices announced by Petrolimex are applied at Petrolimex’s distribution system in the territory of Vietnam including: Petrolimex petrol stations; petrol stations of traders acting as agents; Petrolimex’s general petroleum sales agents and petrol stations of franchised retailers in the form of franchises from Petrolimex.
Petrolimex said that the reduction of petrol and oil prices this time is implemented in accordance with Resolution No. 30/2022/UBTVQH15 on environmental protection tax rates for gasoline, oil and grease, effective from January 1, 2023 to by the end of December 31, 2023 and from the reality of the price movement of finished petroleum products on the world market during the price calculation cycle, in accordance with the principle of determining the selling price in Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023. November 1, 2021 of the Government (Decree 95) on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 on petroleum business and guiding documents. guiding the implementation of Decree 95 of the Inter-Ministry of Industry, Trade and Finance.
