Petrol tanks see 37,000 pound hike, diesel drops 2,000 pounds, and gas decreases by 18,000 pounds in price

The Ministry of Energy and Water’s General Directorate of Petroleum has released an updated pricing table for fuel. The cost of 95 and 98 octane gasoline cans increased by 37,000 pounds, while the price for diesel fuel plates dropped by 2,000 pounds, and gas bottles decreased by 18,000 Lebanese pounds. The current prices for liquid fuels are as follows: a can of 95-octane petrol costs 1,821,000 pounds, a can of 98-octane petrol costs 1,863,000 pounds, diesel fuel plates cost 1,573,000 pounds, and gas bottles cost 1,104,000 pounds.

The General Directorate of Petroleum of the Ministry of Energy and Water issued a new table for fuel prices. The price of the 95 and 98 octane gasoline cans increased by 37 thousand pounds, while the price of the diesel fuel plate decreased by 2000 pounds, and the gas bottle decreased by 18 thousand Lebanese pounds.

The prices of liquid fuels are as follows:

A can of 95-octane petrol: 1,821,000 pounds.

A can of 98-octane petrol: 1,863,000 pounds.

Diesel fuel plate: 1,573,000 pounds.

Gas bottle: 1,104,000 pounds.



In conclusion, the new fuel prices in Lebanon have been announced by the General Directorate of Petroleum of the Ministry of Energy and Water. With the increase in the price of 95 and 98 octane gasoline cans, the decrease in diesel fuel and gas bottle prices comes as a relief for the consumers.
