Kochi: For the second day in a row, fuel prices have gone up in the country. Petrol price was hiked by 90 paise and diesel by 84 paise. The price came into effect from today. Petrol price in Kochi today was Rs 106.05 and diesel Rs 93.24. Elsewhere in the state, prices are higher. After a gap of four and a half months, the price has gone up on the 22nd. After that, the price went up again today. In two days, petrol price has gone up by Rs 1.64 and diesel by Rs 1.69. Fuel prices have risen on November 22, 2021, after rising on November 2, 2021.
The price of cooking gas was also hiked following the hike in petrol and diesel prices yesterday. The price has been increased by Rs 50 per cylinder for domestic use. The new price in Kochi is Rs 956. The price of a 5 kg small cylinder has gone up by Rs 13 to Rs 352. Earlier, the price of a commercial cylinder was increased.
