Mumbai: Diesel prices have been hiked by 85 paise and petrol by 88 paise in various parts of the country. After 127 days, petrol and diesel prices will be revised. In Kochi, petrol price rose by 87 paise to Rs 105.04 from Rs 104.17 on Monday.
Diesel price rose by 85 paise to 92.27 per liter from 91.42 per liter. The higher price will come into effect on Tuesday.
The last time the price was revised was in November in connection with Diwali. Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, when crude oil prices rose above $ 130 a barrel. Crude oil is currently trading above $ 115.
