Environmental activist Paul Watson, who has defended whales against hunting for decades, was arrested Sunday, July 21, in Greenland. The arrest follows an international arrest warrant issued by Japan.
Following this arrest, and while it is not yet known whether Denmark will extradite Paul Watson or not, a petition addressed to the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron has been put online on the website Mesopinions.comShe appeals to the President to demand the release of Paul Watson. It has already been signed by more than 300,000 people.
