Petition: the mayor of Saint-Hippolyte in the fight against medical desertification

Following the closure of the village medical office and the scolding of certain inhabitants, the mayor is mobilizing to try to alert the elected officials concerned and the governing bodies of the country. A petition has been launched.

Indeed, following the retirement or sick leave of four doctors in Salanque, nearly 3,000 patients find themselves without local care!

Among them, it is more than a hundred elderly people who are without medical follow-up at home.

Mobilize the population

The remaining doctors in the area, overworked, cannot take new patients and the new inhabitants do not have an attending doctor.

Madeleine Garcia-Vidal, mayor of Saint-Hippolyte, has decided to take the bull by the horns.

She launched a petition to inform the people concerned and to mobilize the population for this purpose.

To be heard by the authorities

In order to act effectively, the inhabitants are invited to return their situation as soon as possible by completing the coupon attached to the petition and depositing it at the town hall to collect the requests of the Hippolytains.

Thus, Madeleine Garcia-Vidal wishes to mobilize the population and be heard by the authorities in order to remedy the shortage.

To be continued…
