Rapi Films Studio who worked on Satanic 2 Communion and the cinema will put up a warning regarding the dark alias flash warning starting today (9/8) in every screening of that horror film.
The decision came in response to an online petition that appeared on Monday (8/8) asking for a flash warning to be added to the screening of Joko Anwar’s horror film.
Rapi Films Executive Producer Sunil Samtani told CNNIndonesia.comTuesday (9/8), his party will install light warnings at all locations where the movie Pengabdi Setan 2: Communion is shown.

Meanwhile, the CGV Indonesian cinema network also expressed the same thing. Public Relations of CGV, Cheny Aminda said they would also warn the audience of Pengabdi Setan 2 in advance that the film’s content would be disturbing for those who are sensitive to dim light.
“CGV will give this warning through the media offline on the area lobby CGV and also online through official our social media,” Cheny said in a short message to CNNIndonesia.comTuesday (9/8).
On Monday (8/8), a petition on the page change.org appears and asks studios and cinemas to add a flash warning in the screening of the film.
“As someone who has seen the film, I feel that this film needs to add a warning to the use of flashing lights (flickering light) so much in the film,” wrote Cinefoxx ID who created the petition.
