A resident of Kolomna almost became a victim of rape the day before. An unknown person attacked a 31-year-old Petersburger with his fists and was regarding to deprive her of honor, but was frightened by a man who ran out into the street. About this “Fontanka” became known on December 18.
The story took place on Decembrists Street. A 58-year-old man heard cries for help around 6 am. He looked out the window and saw some villain trying to rape a woman. Petersburger ran out and tried to detain the criminal, but he was able to sneak away. The rescuer called the police.
Arriving detachment near the scene detained a 30-year-old citizen of Tajikistan, who arrived in Russia in the summer. The suspect was taken to the department and placed in a cell. A criminal case has been initiated.
