Peter Sagan resumes competition on the “Unbound Gravel” in Kansas before his European goals

Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies) chose to participate in the 100 mile version of the “Unbounb Gravel” (June 4, 2022); the “Unbound Gravel”. Peter Sagan loves Gravel and he knows the environment well, but this will be his first race in this discipline. He chose, with his teammate Daniel Oss, to start the 100 miles (163 kilometers), with 5,270 meters of elevation, through the Flint Hills in the state of Kansas.

He made the announcement alongside American brand Specialized, with whom Sagan has worked closely for years. The brand followed him to TotalEnergies, and he is the ambassador of marketing campaigns for the Bike Diverge, a specific bike for Gravel

The three-time world road champion trained at altitude in Park City, Utah, and the trip to Kansas will end that training block. The day following the Unbound Gravel, Peter Sagan will return to Europe to prepare for his goals which include his first Tour de France with the TotalEnergies team.
