Vienna – Peter Bosek (55) will become CEO of Erste Group on July 1, 2024. He succeeds Willibald Cernko, who will continue to run the business as CEO until then. The Austrian Bosek is currently CEO of Luminor Bank, which operates in the Baltics. Before that, he was the head of Erste Bank and Chief Retail Officer of the Erste Group, so he knows the company very well. Bosek emerged as the best qualified candidate from a multi-stage international process, the bank said on Wednesday.
