Perwez: an audit of municipal finances reveals a hole of 2.7 million euros


The audit of municipal finances revealed embezzlement of public funds amounting to €180,000. In addition to the 2.7 million announced.

In Perwez, the new mayor’s team suspected problems with the accounts of the former majority, so an external audit was carried out by a private company. After a few months, an interim report was submitted and the financial director took over, supervised by the private company. Jordan Godfriaux (Ensemble!) unveiled the final results of this audit.

This work took over the management of the last 18 years, the time spent in power by the former majority. The new majority has the mission of verifying the management of its predecessor. And there is very bad news for the municipality of Perwez.
