A 23-year-old subject was detained by Peruvian police authorities following kidnapping and sexually abusing a Venezuelan teenager in the residential complex where they lived in Lima, Peru.
He was identified as Josué Alberth Castañeda Tenicela, who held his victim captive for more than 24 hours.
In the case, an 18-year-old girl was also captured, who apparently is linked to the crimes.
The community, inflamed by what happened, tried to lynch the alleged antisocial, but the action was neutralized by the authorities; as reported by Diario 2001 through its digital portal.
Police sources linked to the investigation of this case reported that Josué Alberth Castañeda Tenicela subjected the 13-year-old teenager while she was walking through the common areas of the residence and once morest her will took her to his home, where his alleged accomplice was waiting for him.
Following an anonymous complaint made by someone who saw the victim being subdued, police officers broke into the department of Castañeda Tenicela and managed to rescue her.
Forensic examinations revealed that, indeed, the Venezuelan teenager was the victim of sexual abuse.
Josué Alberth Castañeda Tenicela will remain detained along with his alleged accomplice until the investigations are complete and the competent authorities determine his degree of guilt in this infamous event.
