“The action and reaction is immediate, we have intelligence teams, photography equipment, there in the border area, so that we can warn of any strange movement that could prevent the entry of this subject,” declared this Saturday the commander general of the PNP, General Jorge Luis Angulo, to the state radio station Radio Nacional.

The intention is to guarantee that Héctor Guerrero, alias “Niño Guerrero”, accused of being the leader of the international gang, which also has active groups in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile, does not enter the country.

Criminal organization created from a Venezuelan prison

In this regard, the Minister of the Interior and Justice of Venezuela, Remigio Ceballos, assured this Saturday that his country has “completely dismantled” the gang with the arrest of 88 of its members, afterthe intervention in Tocorónthe prison where the criminal organization dedicated to “committing atrocious crimes” such as kidnapping, drug trafficking, human trafficking, homicide, hitmen and extortion was born, as he noted.

In Peru, the head of the PNP highlighted that the decision to declare a state of emergency in the Lima districts of San Juan de Lurigancho and San Martín de Porres, as well as in northern Sullana, “responds to the political will” of the Government of confront common crime and organized crime.
