Everything ready to celebrate the first ‘Film Festival’ of 2024.

The now traditional ‘Film Festival’ will return next week for not only the enjoyment of lovers of the seventh art, but also for anyone who wants to disconnect for a couple of hours with a first-run movie at a popular price.

This activity is carried out at the national level by the National Association of Movie Theaters of Peru (ANASACI) and seeks to promote that the largest number of audiences in Peru can enjoy national and international productions.

The first edition of the ‘Film Festival’ in 2024 will be held in the fourth week of January, on Monday the 22nd, Tuesday the 23rd and Wednesday the 24th. It should be noted that, as the capacity of the theaters is limited, a Pre-sale of tickets starting this Friday the 19th nationwide.

The price to go to the movies will be special in all the ways in which you can watch movies. The general public will be able to purchase tickets for only 6 soles in the regular 2D, Xtreme and XD formats.

Meanwhile, special formats, such as 3D, Prime and 4DX, can be enjoyed at half price. But this is not all, since ANASACI managed to offer combos in the cafeterias of the cinemas at prices.

The ‘Film Festival’ will take place from January 22 to 24.

In accordance with the regulations established by the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi), as of 2018, only Cinemark and Cineplanet cinemas are allowed to bring in food that is not provided by the company, as long as they are equivalent to what they offer in their establishments, such as popcorn, soft drinks, water, candy, among others.

In the cinemas not mentioned it is prohibited to bring in external food.

The ‘Film Festival’ will take place nationwide.

It was learned that the ‘Film Festival’ will be held nationwide in the country’s main chains: Cineplanet, Cinemark, Cinépolis, Cinerama, UVK, Movie Time, Cine Star, among others. Tickets can be purchased both in physical format and in the virtual store of the cinema of your choice.

At the ‘Film Festival’ you can enjoy the premieres of Beekeeper Death Sentence (with the immutable Jason Statham), The Boy and the Heron (the most recent animation from Studio Ghibli), as well as the re-release of Soul (from Disney Pixar).

In addition to Peruvian films such as Muerto de Risa, by Gonzalo Ladine, speaking Huevadas: Hijo D…, by comedians Jorge Luna and Ricardo Mendoza, and Isla Bonita, by Ani Alva Helfer.

And the international productions that continue to be released such as Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Wonka, Autumn Leaves, The Game of Death, The Snow Society, Boys, Priscilla, Wish: The Power of Wishes, among others.
