The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Team brings in Franco Morbidelli to face the 2025 MotoGP season.
“I am very happy to announce that I have signed a contract with the VR46 Racing Team for the 2025 season,” said Morbidelli, quoted from the team’s official statement, Sunday (18/8).
The contract marks the continuation of Morbidelli’s racing career. He is the first rider to wear the VR46 Riders colors.
Academy and claimed the world title in the Moto2 class in 2017.
The Italian racer will also be a teammate of his compatriot, Fabio Di Giannantonio, who has already secured his seat at the racing team that is synonymous with neon colors.
“I will definitely feel at home here. I really want to do well and repay this trust, with good results.
“Well, both for myself and for the whole crew,” said Morbidelli.
“I can’t wait to start this new adventure together,” he added.

On the other hand, Pertamina Enduro VR46 Team Director Alessio Salucci said that his party was happy to accept Morbidelli into the team.
According to Salucci, Morbidelli is a racer they have known for a long time and has extraordinary potential.
“He is a very talented rider, we can’t wait to welcome him and let him enjoy the family and home atmosphere that is typical of us,” said Salucci.
“He will continue to race with the Ducati Desmosedici GP24, and we are sure he will be able to fight with the strongest group of riders,” he concluded. (Ant/Z-1)
