Here is an initiative that deserves to be highlighted. In the context of Hooked on School Days, Gameloft Montréal et Interactive Behavior come together to create a one-of-a-kind workshop for young people from Youth Perspectivesa school and social dropout prevention organization.
As partners and donors, the two studios have been collaborating for several months to set up creative workshops for young people aged 14 to 18.
Behavior studios and Gameloft will match mentors and young people who will work together to give them the opportunity to understand how to create video games. These young people will be able to experience workshops such as the ecosystem, character creation and game mechanics.
Through this initiative, the studios hope to arouse young people’s interest in studies and introduce them to the many career opportunities in a dynamic industry that is constantly on the lookout for talent.
“Already in 2019, we offered a workshop and the experience was very rewarding for both young people and Behavior experts. We are happy to repeat the experience this time with our Gameloft colleagues! says Marie-Eve Boisvert, vice-president of communications at Behavior Interactif.
