The Personal Number comes into effect, as the relevant Presidential Decree is expected within the next week.

The MyInfo platform is live

“We are building a digital state through our mobile to be able to find solutions and we always keep a line that can be KEPs for people who do not have a good knowledge of technology. This is our main concern. Let’s not exclude anyone from the state, from a digital state, because there are always people who cannot have such good knowledge” the minister then said, noting that there are pockets of bureaucracy in the public administration that come from laws of times without computing systems, almost a century ago. “So we are now canceling these and saying it goes without saying that when I make an application from the State, you don’t need to ask me to prove who I am, what my family situation is. That’s where my data is. You have them in the Civil Registry, with my permission, take them and do your job. Well, you will see this very, very soon,” said Mr. Papastergiou.
What he said regarding the platform for gross plots

The minister also referred to the citizens’ early notification system, 112, for which a very large upgrade program is underway, providing it with a completely new equipment so that now for the next ten years we can be safe and have a 112 which can meet the needs of the country.
