Bad news for fans of Person 5 Royal who hoped to do it once more in version optimized for PlayStation 5 since the game will not offer an upgrade as one might widely suspect.

Atlus published a Frequently Asked Questions on the persona official website to give several answers concerning the exit of Person 5 Royal. Finally, not all since we still don’t have what we can expect as resolution and framerate on the different ports (and let’s admit that the version Switch makes us quite curious on this point).
But we still have confirmation that the PlayStation 4 version will not be able to be upgraded, either for free or even by paying, and that you will necessarily have to go back to the checkout to pay the full price for the game if you absolutely want the PS5 version. We also learn that there will be physical editions only on PS5 and Switch but that there will be no collector’s item at all.
Person 5 Royal will arrive on October 21, 2022 on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch and PC.
