Persik vs Bali United Serdadu Tridatu Steals 3 Points

BALI United brought home a 3-1 victory from a visit to Persik Kediri’s home ground, in the 2024/2025 League 1 match at Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri, Sunday (11/8).

The victory brought Serdadu Tridatu to fourth place in the Liga 1 standings with three points. Meanwhile, Persik is in 15th place with zero points.

The home team Persik tried to attack from the start of the match. Their first chance came from a free kick from Lebanese midfielder Majed Osman, which soared over the Bali United goal.

Bali returned fire a few seconds later. Made Tito got a chance from Mitsuru Maruoka’s pass, and then fired a shot wide of the home team’s goal.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 18th minute. Japan’s Maruoka stole the ball from Persik defender Brendon Lucas, before sending a shot into the right corner of the goal beyond goalkeeper Leo Navacchio.

After falling behind, Persik tried hard to equalize. Ze Valente fired a free kick that was off target, on the other side Bali also got a chance from a header from Thai defender Elias Dollah that soared.

Bali almost doubled their lead when Maruoka pulled a pass back to Privat Mbarga, before Nuri Fasya cleared the ball.

Approaching halftime, both teams had equal chances to score. Bali substitute Kenzo Nambu’s effort went wide, as did Persik player Ramiro Fergonzi’s header which soared over Bali’s goal. The score 1-0 closed the first half.

Bali doubled their lead five minutes into the second half, or in the 50th minute. From a counter-attack, the ball was received by Privat who was able to outwit Hamra Hehanussa and goalkeeper Leo before firing the ball into the home team’s goal. 2-0 to Bali.

Persik, who did not want to be embarrassed in front of their own public, had a good chance when Hugo Samir’s kick hit the goal post. Persik’s next chance from Ze Valente’s kick was also still secured by goalkeeper Adilson Maringa.

It was Bali who was able to get their third goal, through Cameroon player Privat’s second goal in the 68th minute. He received a pass from Rahmat Arjuna, to easily put the ball into Persik’s goal from inside the penalty box.

Persik’s only consolation goal came in the 73rd minute. Ze Valente passed the ball to Bayu Otto, who continued by breaking through Adilson’s goal. The score of 3-1 for Bali’s advantage lasted until the long whistle sounded.
