A video is circulating on Twitter showing children having fun around a burning slide in the Saint-Jacques district of Perpignan. Some are no more than 6 years old.
It is a surreal video circulating on social networks and which has already made nearly 500,000 views. We see children surrounding a toboggan on fire, some of them no more than 6 years old.
The scene takes place in Perpignan in Saint-Jacques, a popular district of the capital of the Pyrénées-Orientales.
It would have been filmed, according to Le Figaro, by a certain NasDas who would be an influencer, living in this neighborhood. We hear the latter throwing: “This is the town hall why it does not want to do anything in the neighborhood. Hey! Who did that? Wallah, what is that?”.
It is then that a little boy walks towards him and designates himself as the author of the facts. The influencer asks him: “Is that you? And does that make you laugh?”.
Children pee on the flames
Another child then explains: “on a froid”. A young woman follows who launches in her turn: “But we are bored at home”.
Adults are also present and a resident tries in vain to put out the fire on the slide with a piece of cardboard, while children pee on the flames!

The RN mayor of Perpignan, Louis Aliot, told the Figaro what the city filed a complaint and that an investigation is underway. Adding: “These children have nothing to do outside at this hour. And the families will be asked to pay for this degradation.” and that “this is not the first time” that such incidents have taken place in the neighborhood.
The damage might amount to more than 10,000 euros.
