At the beginning of June, it was clear that the popular presenter and SVT profile Anna Hedenmo leaving the channel after 30 years. And that with an impressive CV. Over the years, she has, among other things, led the EU election coverage in SVT, has been program manager for Agenda and Min Sanning. She has also been a news anchor on both Rapport and Aktuellt.
Anna Hedenmo turned 63 on March 21, 2024, and even though she only has a few years left until retirement, she has no thoughts of slowing down. Anna was recruited to EFN Ekonomikanalen.
There, she will have her own interview program, and also lead efforts during the American presidential election.
“It suits me perfectly to continue doing in-depth personal interviews and reporting on big, big news events while moving into a freer role,” she said in a press release at the time.

Famous faces appearing in the Allsång audience is nothing new. This year alone, everyone from influencers like Bianca Ingrosso and Lovisa Worge to the media profile Sofia Wistam and Pernilla’s mother Christina Schollin been on site.
And during Tuesday’s Allsång, Anna Hedenmo sat in the audience – something that Pernilla was not going to let go unnoticed…

– Well, look, Anna Hedenmo is sitting here. Wow, how nice. Appreciated and beloved presenter at SVT who has confidently led us through so many programs over so many years. Then I hear that you are going to quit SVT, Pernilla exclaimed.

What Pernilla may not have been aware of was that Anna had actually already stamped out of SVT for the last time. Something that resulted in a small correction from the experienced presenter Anna Hedenmo.
– I have stopped, Anna then answered.
Pernilla wished Anna luck – and then she spoke.
– Anna Hedenmo, we will miss you – can you believe it, Pernilla began her trudelutt – while some in the audience behind held up a placard with the text “ANNA H ÄGER”.
Pernilla barely had time to finish the first row before she was joined by the Mello legend Jan Johansen.

In addition to the song, Anna was courted with a gold trophy and a princess cake.
– It was fun, I was very happy! It was short enough and I didn’t have to say anything, which was great, Anna Hedenmo told Expressen later in the evening.
That Jan Johansen joined in the tribute was a real surprise for Anna.
– It impressed my daughters, I can say, Anna told The Express.
